About: Based in modern dance technique and improvisation, MultiGen welcomes beginners of all ages and advanced students who are looking to rejuvenate their creative practice. Families and individuals are encouraged to take this class as a chance to play, move, and create together.

MultiGen Dance Class and MultiGen Ensemble are stand-alone classes. The Saturday Ensemble class focuses on improvisation scores and group work while Monday’s Dance Class emphasizes technique, strength and precision in position and movement. Both are for all ages, all bodies, all abilities.

MultiGen will meet at the studio and, for select Sunday Ensemble classes, on the grounds of the Menil Collection at 1412 W Main St, Houston.

Dress Code: Clothes that are comfortable and safe to move in, long hair pulled back, no loose, dangly jewelry, weather-appropriate clothing for outdoor classes

Dates: Fall classes held September 20-December 19, no class the week of Thanksgiving Break

About: In our beginner tap classes dancers learn to use their feet as rhythmic instruments capable of lively and sophisticated movement. Make friends, have a blast, get a workout, learn an art, and ignite your inner Gene Kelley!

Days and Times: Thursday 7:00-8:15 PM with Jamie Williams
